It's All About The... IMDT Partnership Grades!
Covering a vast amount of training, our Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) Partnership Grades are very much like the Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards - only much less stuffy!
There are SO MANY aspects to these classes! We'll be touching on some GunDog exercises, some Scentwork, Agility, Hoopers, Recall & Loose Lead walking, all while building your distance handling skills, adding in distractions and even making trips to the Vets much easier!
All of this training will have relevance to real life!
And the best thing?
You don't need to commit to a certain number of classes!
We currently have SIX levels to work through (more will be added in future!) each with slightly more difficult criteria and exercises.
You will receive a certificate and rosette for each level you complete - making these classes the perfect choice whether you want to take part just for fun, or whether you're the competitive type!
These classes are open to any age of Dog and are suitable for both Puppies and Adult Dogs alike!

- Loose Lead Walking 100 meters with turns & Sits
- Sit with Duration
- Down with Durartion
- Recall from 5 paces
- Handling of Ear, Eye & Paw
- Chin Rest
- Loose Lead Walking 200 meters with turns, pace changes & a Sit
- Sit with Duration & Distraction
- Down with Duration & Distraction
- Recall from 20 paces to a Front Sit position
- Clear Jump (Height to suit Dog)
- Trick x 3
- Loose Lead Walking 300 meters with turns, pace changes, a Sit, Wait & Recall
- Search with Retrieve
- Emergency Stop
- Greeting People off lead with no Jumping Up
- Clear Jump off lead with Wait (Height to suit Dog)
- Trick x 3 with Distance
- Loose Lead Walking 400 meters off lead with turns, a Sit, a Down & a side swap
- Search with Indication
- Down with Duration, Distance & Distraction
- Greeting a Person & a friendly Dog off lead with no jumping at Person or contact with Dog
- Boomerangs
- Sendaway
- Loose Lead Walking 250 meters off lead & fast paced with turns, a Sit, a Down & a side swap
- Search & Retrieve to Handler 4 separate items, each retrieved individually
- Canine Knowledge Quiz
- Sit with Distance, Duration & Distraction
- Boomerangs with Distance
- Sendaway with a Sit or Down & redirection
- Loose Lead Walking 300 meters off lead, with pace changes, turns, a Sit, a Down & two side swaps
- Sequence of 5 Behaviours cued at distance
- Directions at distance with a Sit or Down & Wait with Distractions
- Retrieve x 3 to Middle, Retrieve to Front & Retrieve to Heel
- Clear Jump with a Sit or Down & Wait with Distractions (Height to suit Dog)
- Bang!
